The B&B is located on a quiet street just a block and a half from the world famous Lanikai Beach. Watch the sunrise from your private lanai, listen to the ocean on a quiet night or walk on the beach and watch the moonrise between the islands. Each unit also has a library of activities on the island, restaurant menus, and books on Hawaiiana. Just a short drive into Kailua town that has shoping, movie theathers, antique stores, great restuants and much more. Find golf course, horseback riding and hiking close by. One of the best, most scenic hikes on the island is right behind the B&B. We have the NIMBER ONE beach in America. Kailua Beach (and Bay Park) and Lanikai are considered not only the best in America, but one of the BEST IN THE WORLD.

Additional Notes:
Aloha Hawaii's Hidden Hideaway - I just wanted to say that our stay was COMPLETELY WONDERFUL. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village after we left Lanikai, certainly a first class establishment.

But to us, first class means being able to leave the windows open, listening to the sound of the rain, and the cooing of the doves, at your Bed and Breakfast.

First class means lots of interesting books, beach chairs that you don't have to pay extra for, and a hostess who really cares about the comfort of her guests.

Now we know why you are considered one of the best B&Bs on the island. Thanks a million, and WE WILL BE BACK! George and Linda North Carolina

Directions:  :
Directions to the Hideaway from the Honolulu International Airport. (aprox. 30 minutes)
Take H-1 West (for 3.5 miles) to Waianae, Aiea, Pearl City,. Take Exit 13B: to H-3 & 78 East.
Stay left to H-3 towards Kaneohe. Go 15 miles on H-3, exit Kaneohe Bay Drive.
Turn left on KANEOHE BAY DRIVE.
Follow KANEOHE BAY DR. for 3.6 miles. The name of the road will change twice, once to KALAHEO, and then KAWAIOLA RD.
Stay on it until you reach ALALA RD.
There make a sharp left: go to the top of the hill on ALALA and you will enter LANIKAI.
It is indicated by a large cement pillar (on the left - by the ocean) which has the words LANIKAI written on it.
There the road (one way) changes name to AALAPAPA DR. stay on it for 0.9 mile.
Look for MOKOLEA DR., turn right, and go to 1369 (10th on the right).
