In the heart of legendary Key Largo. A Florida Keys Hideaway with gorgeous sunsets on the bay, a dock, and a boat ramp...very tropical setting. Bayfront(private) Cottage.Just one hour away from Miami, minutes away from world-calss diving, Everglades, bird-watching, swimming with dolphins, and more.
Each cottage includes its own 22' sailboat for the entire duration of the stay at no extra cost. + A shared Rowing Dory, Canoes, Kayaks, Paddle Boats, dinghies, Floaters, Snorkel/Fishing gear, as well as awesome sunsets and frequent manatee visits. We have 7 sailboats right now – two 22' O' Days, four 22' Catalina’s, 1 westerly 22' for bare boat charters and coming soon for Charter a 30’ Iroquois Catamaran draft 1 ˝ foot, Fill in a few days before, during or after your stay. There are plenty of great sailing adventures to be had for all our boats like our mangrove jungle cruise (A key lime exclusive not on any published maps), snorkel a sunken boat, or find a deserted island beach (charts included) and many interesting and exciting destinations to explore.
The Beautiful Sailfish Cottage is right in front of the bay and has its own tiki hut facing the water with my personal favorite, a tiki shower for 2 containing 4 relaxing shower heads. It's a freestanding cottage which sleeps 2, with a queen size bay view bed, compact refrigerator, range, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, cable TV, air conditioning, towels and linens. We also call this cottage the Honeymoon Suite.
The Captain's Unit can sleep 2 adults and 1 to 2 kids. It is a one-bedroom suite with its own Jacuzzi tub and a tiki shower. It has a king size bed, which also faces the water. A full futon bed, compact refrigerator, small range, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, cable TV, air conditioning, towels and linens. An additional bedroom (with 2 single beds) can be opened to the captain’s cottage making it a 2 bedroom unit also. This unit is great after a fabulous day of sailing, for a restful sleep in a big bed and you will see the bay when your eyes open in the morning/afternoon.
The Owner's Unit is also right in front of the bay with 2 bedrooms; it can sleep 2 adults and 1 to 3 kids. It has a queen size bed, a queen loft bed, and a full pullout sofa bed, dining room, and a living room. In addition to air conditioning, big screen cable TV, towels and linens, and a private open porch with a gas barbeque grill. This unit also has an awesome full kitchen built with bricks that were hand made on site. The fire place was used for cooking and smoking fish, in the 1950 when this cottage was built to last as fishing camp
living head quarters. Offered to you with smile, history, warmth and charm; I know you will love it.
The Dolphin Unit is a nice freestanding cottage located aft of the Captain’s Unit. This unit does not have a view of the bay, but just about 100 feet to the beach. The Dolphin Unit can sleep 2 adults and 2 kids. It has a queen size bed, 2 single sleeper sofas (no bedroom) and a full size refrigerator. It has the same amenities as the Sailfish unit except that it has a conventional shower instead of a tiki shower and a screened porch instead of a tiki hut. The dolphin was also built back in the 1950 and is now tropically decorated for your warm island getaway. The Dolphin is an excellent choice for an economical cozy family stay or longer term stays for couples.

From Miami International Airport, drive to Florida Keys Turnpike South to US Onr. Continue on US One until you enter Key Largo MILE MARKER 128. Mile Markers will be on a green sign at the side of the road every mile. You will see Wendy's, slow down. When you reach MM99 look for Honda Dealership on your right which will be at the stop light, go past the stop light, look for 'MRS. MAC'S KITCHEN", make right turn right at the first gravel road after it and go all the way down until you reach a brown fence with "Key Lime Sailing Club" sign, ring the doorbell.
