Cayman ConchQuest is a beautiful oceanfront condo in the much-desired district of Rum Point/Cayman Kai. Situated just 75 feet from the ocean, here you will find some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving on the island.
Our condo is part of the North Pointe Condominium complex, which consists of ten vacation condos -- all privately owned and equally well-maintained. Our condo is beautifully and tastefully decorated in a tropical motif.
Our first-floor condo features breathtaking ocean views of the Caribbean Sea throughout the condo. The condo's back door opens off of the screened-in lanai onto a private deck that sits in the sand, where you can enjoy the natural white, sandy semiprivate beach and ocean breezes.
The views out the front of our condo, through the kitchen and dining room windows, are of the Cayman forest, with its big mahogany trees, ferns, and palm trees. You'll be greeted most mornings by wild Cayman parrots, Cayman doves, and the occasional wild iguana.
This two-bedroom/two-bath condo offers 1,250 square feet of living space, and has been recently updated with beautiful imported tiles throughout. This is our second home and we are constantly updating it. Other recent additions include all-new appliances, bedroom furniture, and lanai furniture.
Many of our repeat guests tell us, "It is so nice to come back to your condo every year. We know that we will get a good night's sleep, and we feel right at home." Because of this, we know that sleep is very much desired, and we want you to be able to have the kind of sleep you desire, and we put in a new Superior plush king-size mattress in the master bedroom, and two new Superior plush twin mattresses in the guest bedroom. The private en-suite master bathroom has a large tiled tub and shower. The guest bedroom twin mattresses can be converted easily into a king-size bed. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, large sit-down shower, with a second door that also opens up into the living room. Both bedrooms have sliding glass doors that open onto the lanai. Additional sleeping accommodations include a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room and a single sleeper sofa on the lanai.

SNORKELING SPOTS AND SHORE DIVES:
*Queen's Highway Marker, which is on your way to East End. There is a sign that says Queen's Highway on the ocean side, with small driveway. This is just before the large Queen's Highway marker, which is on the island side. This is a beautiful place to snorkel, and only five minutes from our condo.
*Smith Cove, which is south of Georgetown and well marked. *Cemetary Reef, which is on the north side of 7 Mile Beach.
*Dive Tech, next to the Turtle Farm in West Bay. Dive Tech is right below the Cracked Conch restaurant. Dive Tech has a full dive operation, with a beautiful 60 foot wall dive only a short swim out. There is a wall dive there as well, but a ways out.
*Cobalt Coast, which is north of the Turtle Farm, is also operated by Dive Tech, and has a nice 60 foot dive among coral fingers, and a wall dive.
*Eden Rock/Devil's Grotto, south of Georgetown for diving and snorkeling.
*Sunset House, south of Georgetown for diving.

GROCERIES:
*Fosters, next to the airport.
*Hurley's, about five miles from the airport towards our condo, on the left-hand side of the road.
*Lil' Hurley's on East End about 15 minutes from the condo.
*Chisholm's, about two miles east of our condo. This is a small grocery store, but good for quick items. Don't forget to ask them if you can get fresh fish or lobster, if in season, from one of the local fishermen.
RESTAURANTS & BARS:
*Lighthouse, located in Breakers just before you turn up Frank Sound Road. Serves lunch and dinner seven days a week. Full bar.
*Over the Edge, located in North Side serves breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Full bar.
*Private residence in Old Man Bay, 187 Rum Point Road. It is a green house on the island side of the road, just east of Over the Edge. Open only on Saturday. You can get wonderful local foods, and the Cayman-style lobster is only $12 CI. *Kaibo Yacht Club, located in Cayman Kai has a beach BBQ for lunch and a formal dinner house. Open seven days a week. Full bar both inside and out.
*Rum Point Restaurant, located in Rum Point has a daily beach BBQ with a special buffet BBQ on Saturdays with live music, and a formal dinner house. Open seven days a week. Full bar both inside and out. This is also a wonderful place to spend the day relaxing in their hammocks, watching the sunset, snorkeling, jet skiing or sailing.
*Driftwood Village Sports Bar, right next door, has a Sunday BBQ 3:00-7:00 not to be missed. If you are a sports enthusiast, you will not miss out on your favorite team. Also on Friday nights starting at 6:00 is happy hour with great finger foods. Take your favorite dish, and enjoy the local faire of others. The rest of the week you will find locals, ex-pats, sports fans and pool shooters. Say hi to Frank the manager and bartender. Be sure to stop by Nina's Gift Store at Driftwood as well. *David's, located on the East End inside Morritt's Tortuga Club, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Full bar and nightly activities. Call the activities director, Andrew, to find out what activities are going on. Presently there is a Big Kahuna Comedy show on Tuesday evenings at 7:00. Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00 p.m. there is a mudslide madness party with Name That Tune contest. Thursdays local entertainer Lammie plays at 7:00 p.m.
*Royal Reef Resort, located next to Morritt's, has a full restaurant and bar. Barefoot Man plays Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00-10:00 p.m. There is also an Internet cafe here to check your email, just in case the vacation thing is too relaxing and you need a touch of home or the office.
*Portofino Wreck View, located on the East End past Morritt's, serving lunch and dinner.
DIVE OPERATORS: *Red Sail located in Rum Point. Daily two-tank morning and one-tank afternoon dives. It is recommended that you make reservations before leaving the US, as oftentimes they only run boats out of their 7-Mile Beach location, if they do not have enough divers. They also have water sports rentals, such as small sailboats, jet skis, etc. (345) 947-9203
*Morritt's Tortuga Divers, located on the East End, daily dives. Call for rates and schedule. (345) 947-7449

CAR RENTALS:
*McCurley's Tours (345) 947-9626. They will pick you up at the airport in their van, take you to a grocery store, then on to our condo, where your car will be waiting for you. Call for current rates.
*Budget Car Rental. Email them at their Cayman address to to get their best rates.
*All other major car rental companies are in Cayman and you can reach them by any of their 800 numbers.
