Kapoho
Located near the easternmost tip of Hawaii's Big Island is the town of Kapoho.
This quieter corner offers visitors a chance to enjoy the wonderful gifts of nature on this side of the island. While in Kapoho, visitors should definitely check out the tide pools in the region. They are spread all over the coastline, giving guests of the island more than enough room to explore them on their own. Each of these tide pools are unique with their own assortments of tropical fish and vivid coral arrangements. While here, visitors can go on a picnic alongside the pools and snorkel to observe the many creatures that call these places home. In fact, snorkeling gear isn't even needed to enjoy these pools, and a simple swim will do the trick. Scuba-diving is also available outside the pools at beaches such as Leleiwi Beach Park, where visitors may be lucky enough to spot a sea turtle or two wandering under the waves.
