Indian Rocks Beach Vacation Rentals
On the western shore of Florida is Indian Rocks Beach. Right on the Gulf of Mexico, this beach has exciting stories to tell and is waiting for visitors to make their own interesting tales.
This seaside community supposedly acquired its name from a healing spring surrounded by rocks. The community is extremely accessible, with a number of intracoastal waterways and roadways. Boaters will be able to navigate around the waters with ease for a pleasant experience. Visitors in the area will also find that there is great fishing because of the calm seas. Charters can be enlisted to help guests catch anything from marlin to tuna and grouper. Other watersports that can be done on the beach include water-skiing and jet-skiing. The area is also great for windsurfing as well. Those who want to learn can easily find lessons. Kayaking and canoeing are also popular activities here. Also in the area is the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, where sick or injured coastal birds are nursed back to health.
