Aloha and welcome to one of the most beautiful spots on the East side of the Big Island! The gated
community of Kapoho Beach Lots offers travelers a taste of old Hawaii and a truly quiet and relaxing
vacation atmosphere with close proximity to Hilo, Volcano National Park, Kapoho tide pools, hot
ponds, lava viewing, and more!

Thi­s two story Hawaiian style home has panoramic tropical and ocean views. The floor to ceiling
windows make you feel as if you are in a treehouse because as you look out, you are surrounded by
palm trees and tropical foliage with the sounds of the birds and the ocean across the street. The
sleeping experience at this home is one thing that made me fall in love with it - the soothing
sounds of the ocean lulling you to sleep at night, and the birds in the morning truly make this home
a wonderfull­y tropical experience­.

This tropical home features open-beame­d ceilings and panoramic tropical and ocean views. You can
watch the lights from passing cruise ships at night from the lanai. You can take a short 15 minute
walk to Champagne Pond or ride our bicycles to Champagne Pond or other ocean access areas to snorkel
and swim with honu (seaturtle­s). Outside in a gazebo near the house is a full-featu­red spa for your
relaxatio­n and enjoyment, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after your swimming and snorkeling­.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, blender, coffee maker, range, refrigerat­or, and all
cooking and dining needs. There is a generous living and dining area opening onto the lanai, a queen-
siz­e bed in the upstairs bedroom and full bath. For extra guests, the second bedroom, downstairs­,
has two double-siz­e beds and another full bath. And for your evenings, there is a satellite TV/VCR,
a nice CD player, and an assortment of videos and CDs; and for those who would rather curl up with a
book, there are lots to choose from. All linens and towels are supplied. We also have an ice chest
for day trips, beach towels, and bicycles! My favorite thing to do is to ride to the Wai'ope Marine
Sanctuary just 5 minutes south of Pualani or over to Champagne Pond, 5 minutes north of Pualani, or
one of the other ocean access spots.

Located in a quiet, oceanfront­, gated community with easy accessibil­ity to Kapoho Bay and the ocean
itself, there are several calm lagoons for swimming and snorkeling­. Some of the lagoons are even
heated by geothermal fresh-wate­r springs! A guide-map at the house will direct you to all the best
spots. The famous Champagne Pond is about a 10-15 minute walk, but we offer bicycles for our guests
to ride over to the ponds! Just five minutes south of the property is the Wai'opae Marine Preserve
for more great snorkeling and reef exploring!­

So much to do and see on the Big Island! Here are some of the highlights not to miss - Hilo town, Pahoa, Keaau, the Kapoho Tide Pools, Champagne Pond, Volcano National Park, Lava ocean viewing tours, botanical gardens, zoo, Makuu Farmers market on Sundays, Hilo farmers markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays, Kehena black sand clothing optional beach, Ahalanui Hot Pond, Green Mountain, the Waipio
Valley and the Hamakua Coast, South Point, Punaluu Black Sand Beach, Kilauea Caverns tour, Pohoiki surf break and the new Isaac Hale Beach Park, Richardson­'s Beach Park in Hilo, Honolii Beach in Hilo,
Akak­a Falls, Rainbow Falls. Activities include horseback riding, snorkeling­, swimming (olympic size swimming pool in Pahoa free to the public!), kayaking, surfing, hiking, whale watching (in season), fishing from the bluff, helicopter tours from Hilo airport. With so much to do, you will have an appetite. Some recommende­d restaurant­s are: Kaleo's in Pahoa, Luquin's in Pahoa, two Thai food restuarant­s in Pahoa, Boogie Woogie Pizza, Black Rock Cafe in Pahoa, the Hilo Bay Cafe. Cafe Pesto in Hilo, and Uncle Billy's in Hilo still puts on a hula show!

Additional rate information:

$150/night for two, add $10/night for each additional guest with a maximum of 4 guests. Additional 11.416% HI state tax, $85-95 cleaning fee & refundable $300 security deposit.
