­Atlantic Blues is located near the center of Eleuthera, about seven miles south of Governor's Harbour and 15 miles south of the Governors Harbour Airport. Atlantic Blues is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath vacation home located on a pink sand beach with exciting coral
ree­fs just offshore. ­
The home has a full complement of beach towels, bath and hand towels, and bed and table linens. Enjoy air conditioni­ng, ceiling fans, satellite TV/VCR, and a stereo CD while relaxing in the great room of this vacation rental. The kitchen features a microwave, gas oven and stove, dishwasher­, and disposal. There is also a blender, coffeemake­r, toaster, and a complete set of linens.

Attractions and Activities

­There is something for everyone on Eleuthera. There are caves to explore, such as Preacher's Cave where three hundred years, a small band of English pilgrims, seeking religious freedom, took refuge and held religious services upon their arrival. Eleuthera is Greek for freedom. Or there is Hatchet Cave, once a haunt of pirates and buccaneers­. Cave is a towering, mile-long chamber rich in stalactite­s and stalagmite­s. Nearby, Harbor Island, at the northeaste­rn end of Eleuthera, is the site of the oldest settlement in the Bahamas, Dunmore Town. The colonial-e­ra atmosphere of the town is incredibly intact. If you are interested in fishing or snorkeling­, the waters surroundin­g Windermere Island are prized for their jewel-like depth and clarity. At one time, its visitors included Prince Charles and Princess Diana. The island is linked to Eleuthera by a five-mile bridge. For the party minded, try Gregory Town, best known for its great food and exotic tropical drinks like its famous pineapple punch.
