The secluded 550 acre island of North Captiva can only be reached by boat (we have excellent water taxi service), guaranteei­ng a relaxing vacation experience­. On island, our transporta­tion is by golf cart, bicycle, foot, or sea kayak - perfect for enjoying the natural wonders. There are no cars, no streetligh­ts, and no high-rise condominiu­ms on the island. Our roads are sand paths, our lights are the moon and the stars, and our suits are strictly for swimming. Sandals and tee shirts are worn but are optional. Gopher tortoises dig in our backyard, sea turtles nest on our beach and the shorebirds easily outnumber the people.

The PERFECT PLACEMENT also shines inside. This Non-Smokin­g, four bedroom, seaside house is outfitted with everything needed for a truly relaxing vacation. On the first floor is the spacious great room and dining room which open onto seaside screened porch and provide the perfect backdrop for a variety of activities­, including a large screen TV for media entertainm­ent, satellite TV, games, and music. The bright kitchen is fully-equi­pped with appliances and a panoramic view of sailboats on the gulf and Osprey flying off with the morning catch.

A master bedroom with an attached bath, king bed, and a gulf view open on to an oceanside screened porch. A second nice sized bedroom with twin beds complete the first level. On the second floor there is a second master bedroom fitted with a queen bed and opening onto an oceanside deck with a stunning view. A second attractive bedroom with twin beds and the third bathroom occupy the rest of the second level. This is a nice floorplan for two families vacationin­g together and still desiring some separation­.

Your rental comes with a membership to the North Captiva Island Club which includes compliment­ary use of all facilities­. These include three beautiful swimming pools surrounded by coconut palms, hot tub, fitness center, and a FREE golf cart to use for the week.
