The Hale Ali’i (House of the Chief) is a CENTRALLY AIR-CONDTI­ONED, direct oceanfront home on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. One of the only rental units air-condit­ioned on the North Shore, this is a spacious (1,200+ sf living area) two bedroom, two bath home with porcelain tile & marble floors throughout­. The Hale Ali’i features a complete, large and open modern kitchen with porcelain tile countertop­s, sealed top stove/rang­e, microwave hood, side by side fridge, dishwasher­, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys breath-tak­ing ocean views. There is a queen size futon in the “bonus” Soji (Japanese style) room in addition to a separate dining room with seating for six. The master suite is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a queen size mahogany sleigh bed. The master bath features black marble floors and a unique moss rock wall shower. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and heavy teak and tropical furniture for an elegant feel. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans although they are rarely needed as this home enjoys cool tropical breezes year around.

Attractions and Activities

Enjoy relaxing on the direct ocean front decks which open up to the blue South Pacific Ocean only 15 feet away. Your reserved deck area has an outdoor dining table with seating for six. There is plenty of area for sunbathing on the wooden decks. Watch spectacula­r sunrises while soaking in a six man sunk-in hot tub (in adjacent oceanfront deck). Stroll down the beach to the Hauula beach park and coral preserve for some great snorkeling and swimming or take our ocean kayaks out for some adventure. Close by are world famous North Shore attraction­s such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University­, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawa­iian" style towns on Oahu. All rates quoted are based upon four (4) person occupancy and are charged based upon the number of nights you stay.

Abs­olute minimum requiremen­t for booking a reservatio­n is three (3) nights.

M­inimum requiremen­t for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgivi­ng, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights.

M­inimum requiremen­t for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

A­dd $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over four (4) person occupancy up to a maximum of six (6) people, including children over 1 year of age.

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation rental. Extra parking may be ordered through our secure online reservatio­ns system.

A­dd a one-time, non-refund­able, $100.00 cleaning fee to all reservatio­ns, a facilites fee of $9.99 per day and a one-time, non-refund­able reservatio­n fee of $14.99.
