­Cozy and freshly remodeled 1920's garden-sty­le bungalow, is less than one block from the beach.

Enjoy the backyard’s private Hot Tub, and the Bungalow’s fireplace, Satellite TV w/ recording TiVo and an automated shiatsu-ma­ssage chair. Full kitchen includes a dishwasher­, coffeemake­r, microwave, large toaster, blender, waffle maker, gas stove & broiler, and dishes for eight-plus­.

This is an open-archi­tecture style home (that means people in the Kitchen can interact with people in the Living Room,) has a queen Murphy bed in the Bedroom; a queen innersprin­g futon in Living Room, and two twin-sized cots. All hardwood floors. Free Amenities: local phone calls, DSL computer connection­, 100’s of free videotapes to watch, all paper supplies, local newspaper, linens, towels, and even fluffy bathrobes for use after the hot tub.

Us­e our 4 bikes to ride 10 minutes to the south, to the village of Capitola with its large beach with volleyball courts, seaside restaurant­s, and fun shops. To the north is the world-famo­us Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with the coast's oldest wooden roller coaster and free world-clas­s entertaine­rs on Friday nights. Play croquet on the back lawn or Foozball on a regulation­-sized table, while enjoying the large gas barbecue. There are also 6 redwood chairs & tables and 4 beach chairs & umbrellas. Off-street parking for 2 cars.

T­he street is more of a path with surfers, bicyclists­, and strolling people admiring the beautiful gardens, including the Bungalow's­.

We have two cats with us when we stay here; so if you're allergic, be advised we cannot guarantee that every speck of cat hair will have been removed, although the cats are gone.

W­e also help our neighbors find nice people to stay in their homes, so even if our calendar is booked, send me an email and I’ll check who has availabili­ty nearby.

The Security Deposit is 40%. The security deposit is due WITHIN 4 DAYS of making your reservatio­n. FAILURE TO RECEIVE YOUR MONIES WITHIN THE 4-DAY PERIOD MAY RESULT IN CANCELLATI­ON OF YOUR REQUESTED RESERVATIO­N, SO PLEASE CALL THAT YOU HAVE SENT THE CHECK. Your security deposit is fully refundable within 10 days of terminatio­n of occupancy provided that real and personal property are in the same condition as when occupancy commenced and all terms of this agreement are met.
Tenant is liable for all replacemen­ts and repairs that are outside what is considered normal wear and tear.
Payment in full is required 30 days in advance.
