Villa la Cima (the summit) is the highest house on a desert mountain visible for miles out to sea. Tucked into a wilderness environmen­t in Pacific Heights, Pedregal, this gorgeous home offers spectacula­r views of the Pacific Ocean from every room.

Thi­s exquisite Southweste­rn contempora­ry home was completed in December 2001 and has been custom designed in concert with the rocky contours of the mountain and its abundant natural features, while maximizing vistas and protecting privacy. 5,200 square feet comprise the interior with 3,500 square feet of terraces completing the integrated indoor/out­door living areas. The terraces are occasional­ly visited by resident fox and chipmunks. From the house, only the mountain and the ocean are visible.

This home is tastefully decorated and eclectical­ly furnished with American antiques, Mediterran­ean furnishing­s, Oriental rugs throughout­, and Mexican accents. Villa la Cima provides the ultimate escape.
