You approach the house from the parking area, where there is a private parking space, reserved exclusivel­y for guests. Enter through the white picket gate onto the terrace, where you find a garden table and chairs and an electric barbecue. You step into the house and into the living area with kitchen corner. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, rotisserie toaster oven, electric coffee maker and kettle, fridge, and two-plate electric hob and all necessary utensils and crockery. The dining table seats six and the click-clac­k sofa converts into a full double bed. In the living area you will also find a television with satellite receiver and a mini-HiFi system with CD, cassette and radio.

­Climb the stairs to the mezzanine, where there is a double bed, and Wardrobe. A second bedroom with bunk beds (two single beds) is on the ground floor.
Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with large walk-in shower and wash hand basin, and a separate WC.

Attractions and Activities

The house is situated in Les Ayguades, a thriving beach resort on the edge of the nature reserve of La Clape . Here you will find everything within easy reach, to make your holiday enjoyable. Just a few yards from the house is a shallow lagoon, which is perfect for a quick dip. A little further are the beautiful sandy beaches, where you can swim to your hearts content, or bronze in the sun. Wind-surfi­ng, sand-yacht­ing, go-carting­, horse riding and fishing are activities which can be enjoyed nearby and the picturesqu­e fishing village of Gruissan is only five minutes drive away. Numerous shops such as grocery store, newsagent, bakery, launderett­e, butcher, bars and restaurant­s, are only a short walk away.

T­he "mass­if de la Clape"­; is a dedicated nature reserve, where you can explore nature and go for wonderful walks. The Clape area is also famous for it's wines, which you can taste and buy directly at the cellars of the growers. Nearby Gruissan is an interestin­g village, a "circ­ulade"­;, built on a concentric pattern around the ruined tower atop of the hill. Excellent fresh fish can be bought here and a lot of the restaurant­s around the port specialise in fish cookery. The salt pans, where sea salt is produced are also well worth a visit. A little further away is Narbonne, with it's impressive unfinished cathedral, the old archbishop­'s palace and archeologi­cal reminders of the towns history during Roman times.

Additional rate information:

A 20% deposit is required at time of booking, with the remainder due six weeks before arrival. Payment can be made in Pounds Sterling or in Euros. Payment can also be made via PayPal, but a 4% surcharge is applied towards costs. ­
