Just 50 meters from the beach and a ten minute drive to the the centre of Plettenberg Bay, this Beach House with 360 degree views of sea mountains and forest is the perfect indulgent getaway. It's location offers the option of a quiet relaxing retreat, a fun-packed watersports adventure, a real african safari experience or a combination of all three.
The Beach house is a light and airy, 5 bedroom 5 bathroom, triple story property. It boasts a comfortable living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, balconies and spacious sun deck, all of which have spectacular views.
All rooms have large sliding doors which open onto either the garden or balconies.
The beach house sits in a gated community known as Milkwood Glen. The grounds are mainly indigenous coastal dune forest and besides direct access to the beach, have a sheltered pool area including a baby pool.
The house comes equipped with all mod-cons, daily maid service (Mon - Fri), all linen and towels and much more........
Attractions and Activities
PLETTENBERG BAY IS ONE OF THE MOST RICHLY DIVERSE RESORTS IN THE WORLD! From African safaris to world class golf courses, from whale and dolphin watching to adventure sports. Here there really is something for everyone.
The following is an abbreviated list of activities in the Plettenberg Bay area, all within a 15 minute drive from the Beach House. We hope this will help you understand how appealing this area is.
BEACHES
Beside the one on our doorstep, there are many others, each with its own unique character. From isolated pocket beaches bounded by rocky cliffs that will make you feel like a castaway, to the family oriented central beach. If you collect beaches, this is the ideal place for you.
WHALE AND DOLPHIN WATCHING
Our bay is home to an estimated year round population of 100 thousand dolphins (3 different species), and between June and December, the majestic Southern Right Whales take up residence in the bay. We are also visited by Humpback Whales and Orcas. The beach house itself is an excellent vantage point to view these magnificent animals. If you prefer a really close encounter, then daily boat safaris or a guided sea kayaking trip is the way to go.
AFRICAN SAFARI'S
With 2 game reserves and several animal sanctuaries......if its Africa you want, it is Africa you will get.
WATERSPORTS
Sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, kite surfing and sea kayaking are all on offer. If you are looking for something more relaxed, why not rent a boat or canoe and take a leisurely trip up the beautiful Keurbooms river reserve.
HIKING TRAILS
Way too many to mention, but we think you shouldn't miss the Robberg Peninsula nature reserve or the Arch Rock coastal walk. A little further afield (45 min drive), is the dramatic Tsitsikamma Coastal Nature Reserve with the world renowned Otter Trail.
ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
Why not step out of your comfort zone and try the worlds highest bunjy jump, or a tandem sky dive in what is known as one of the most beautiful jump sites in the world.
GOLF
The Gary Player designed Goose Valley Golf Course, and the Plettenberg Bay Country Club are both world class options.
FISHING
From deep sea, to rock and surf, to lagoon and river. From big game to fly, if you're an angler you'll think you've died and gone to heaven.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
Our favorite is the award winning Enrico's, just 3kms up the beach, but the area is full of great venues in stunning locations.
SHOPPING
From African art/curios to designer clothing, you can melt that plastic in no time at all.
