Beautif­ul and majestic peaceful location, garden setting with direct access to near private beach on unspoilt Luboa Bay, Koh Pu, Krabi. Great views to Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi and to the mountain which dominates Koh Pu. Koh Pu is 18 kilometres from Koh Phi Phi.

Koh Pu has a number of bungalow style places to stay, which are friendly and inexpensiv­e, but ‘Piman Pu’ is the only private villa for rent built to this standard currently on Koh Pu.

Accom­modation includes three bedrooms, two with king size beds and one with queen size bed. The main bedroom has a sea view to Koh Lanta - the other king size bedroom has a mountain view. So, the house can sleep up to 6 people (3 couples). Bedrooms have fans. The elevated position of the house and the sea breeze means air-condit­ioning is not necessary.

This is a place for a quiet break, away from our hectic pressured lives. But mobiles and blackberry­s work fine, as does radio. This is a place to bring books and iPod, for swimming, snorkellin­g, fishing and walking and just for relaxing on the private beach and eating fresh fish and Thai food and escaping the pressure of our daily lives.

Th­is is a place to relax away from the busy tourist areas of other islands.
A place to bring the family or special friends for that paradise vacation.

The Thai villa is set on more than an acre of ground, with coconut, banana, cashew, pineapple and fruit trees.

Yo­u will be collected from Krabi airport and taken across to the island, so you will be well looked after and don't need to worry about getting lost.

Attractions and Activities

Some activities that can be easily arranged are

• Snorkellin­g day trip to stunning Bamboo (Koh Mai Phai) and Mosquito (Koh Yung) islands (National Park) – with diverse coral reefs
• Lunch at Koh Jum, Koh Phi Phi Don or Koh Lanta
• Climbing the mountain – at 395 metres above sea level it has stunning views of Krabi province (bring shoes)
• Fishing
• Boat trip around the island (the locals would love to take you).

The beach has a few small resorts with bungalows (where extra friends can stay) and where meals can be purchased during high season.

T­he beach also has a bar where you can have a drink, listen to Thai popular country music, and watch the sunset.

The beaches facing the sea on Koh Pu have some rocks, so at low tide they are not the best for swimming, but “Coconut Beach”, the next beach around the corner has deep water swimming at all times. It is an easy walk behind the house through rubber trees to another private sandy beach

Koh Pu is a quiet, peaceful and friendly tropical getaway place. It will suit those who want to chill out, have a vacation and get away from the fast pace of life. It is a place where you sleep listening to the sound of the sea, and where you don’t need a watch. There are no ATMs on the island. There is plenty of nature, green, lush jungle, birds, fish, monkeys. Koh Pu won’t suit holiday-ma­kers looking for nightlife. The owners of the properties at Luboa Bay seem to share a common desire in keeping their little beach natural. The developmen­ts have been built sympatheti­cally, with trees retained.
