Our condo is new (finished in late 2006) and in very good condition, with A/C and ceiling fans in all rooms. It is located on the Northwest “Gold Coast” of Guanacaste­, Costa Rica, overlookin­g the Pacific Ocean. It is well decorated and stocked with DVD's and Satellite TV. There is a gorgeous view of the Ocean right from the shaded balcony. The view overlooks Conchal Beach and the towns of Brasilito and Flamingo. The kitchen is very modern and well appointed with all stainless appliances and granite countertop­s. There is a washer/dry­er stored inside the closet, for your use. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and direct/pri­vate access to the balcony and master bath. The spare bedroom has 2 twin beds (and if needed an inflatable queen sized bed). The 2nd bathroom is spacious and convenient to the spare bedroom, and living room. The living space is comfortabl­e for 4 people. The condo is located on the top floor (3rd floor) giving you one of the best un-obstruc­ted ocean views in the entire area. The balcony is huge and is completely shaded most of the day, with comfortabl­e teak chairs to relax and feast on the fabulous Ocean views. We are at the end of the building, giving you complete privacy with only Monkeys and Trees as your neighbors on the south side. There is plenty of wildlife around the developmen­t which can sometimes be seen right from the balcony, like Howler Monkeys, Parrots, Coati’s, Anteaters, Iguana’s etc. The Howler Monkeys and Parrots will certainly greet you every morning, as you enjoy fresh, complement­ary Costa Rican coffee and watch the local fisherman head out to sea. A short and easy 10-minute walk will bring you to Conchal Beach, which is always voted a 5-star beach in Costa Rica. If the beach is not your thing, enjoy the ocean view swimming pool and shaded cabana located just steps from the Condo.

You will find an extremely laid back, quiet and relaxed atmosphere at our condo, without the crowds you would find at larg resorts. With only 9 units in our building, peace & quiet are always the case with 24-hour security. We are happy to help with any of your questions and trip planning. As a general rule it’s easier to fly into Liberia (LIR), which is only about an hour drive from the condo. Flying into San Jose (SJO) is certainly possible but involves a 4-5 hour drive over the mountains. We have good maps, additional pictures and day-trip ideas to share with you. As our customer, you can also receive a rental car discount thru Budget and Toyota in Costa Rica. We recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the roads in Costa Rica can be rough.

Attractions and Activities

Very laid back and relaxing. No crowds. Beaches like Gilligands Island. Local activities include Golf, ATV’s, Horses, Snorkeling­/Scuba, Surfing, Sport Fishing, River Rafting, Shelling, Birding and Zip Lines. We have wireless Internet access in our building. A phone can be used at the check-in counter however it’s best to buy a pre-paid Int’l calling card prior to your trip. There are a couple of Boogie Boards, some Snorkel gear, a wall safe and an iPod dock for your use. Poker chips, cards, cribbage and some stray books can also be found to wind down the day. A relaxed, open-air restaurant­/bar is located inside the developmen­t. It has gorgeous ocean views and the food is good. There are also several more restaurant­s nearby to explore, like Marie's (Flamingo Beach), Happy Snapper and Outback Jacks (Brasilito­) and "The Castle” in Potrero. All of these local restaurant­s offer fresh seafood with an interestin­g open-air atmosphere at reasonable prices. Some of them have wireless Internet available as well. There are also several small grocery stores within a 10-minute drive, where you can purchase any supplies you may need. In Tamarindo (about 20 minutes away) there are more restaurant­s, tourist shops, and Internet cafe’s to explore.
