Pedregal
Situated near the tip of the Cabo San Lucas is the area of Pedregal. Placed a little away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, this area promises a quiet getaway under the warm Mexican sun.
One of the activities available in the Pedregal region is swimming in the turquoise blue waters. The waters here are warm throughout much of the year, making it perfect for a wide range of water sports. Scuba-diving and snorkeling in beaches around Pedregal is possible, as Pedregal Beach itself is not recommended for swimming due to the strong currents. From Pedregal, visitors can go to Divorce Beach, known for the skim boarders who frequent this shore. El Arco is fairly close to this beach, and is a great place to go for watching sea lions. Another beach close to Pedregal is Small Hill Beach, one of the few beaches on the Pacific Coast that is safe enough for swimming. Surfing can be done at this beach as well.
Pedregal may be removed from many of the commodities found in the main city, but it is closer to much of the natural beauty that surrounds this area.
