At the tip of Mexico's westernmost peninsula is the region referred to as Los Cabos. Meaning "the capes," this area has many adventures hidden in its nooks and crannies waiting to be explored.
There are a number of beaches along the Los Cabos region, some of which aren't safe for swimming because of the strong currents. Some of the beaches that are visitor-friendly include Medano Beach, Lover's Beach, and Playas Las Viudas. Those who want to skim the surface of the waves can go on boat cruises to watch the sunset or see whales breach in the deep blue waters. Sailing charters are also available for those who want to feel the power of the wind. There is much life hidden under these same waves. Snorkeling and scuba-diving are great activities to take part in, and Land's End, the Sandfalls, and Santa Maria Bay. Since Los Cabos is in the Baja California region of Mexico, surf here is excellent, with spots like Costa Azul, La Roca and El Tule known for their great waves.
The Los Cabos region has many adventures waiting for vacationers looking for excitement.
