Rosarito Beach
Tucked away in the northwestern corner of Mexico is Rosarito Beach. This resort town is a beautiful and exciting place to step away from routine of daily life.
Surfing is a popular sport to take part in while vacationing in Rosarito Beach. The swells here rival some of the best surfing spots along the western coast of the continent. This town also hosts a number of professional surfing events throughout the year. Even if visitors don't know how to surf, lessons are offered in town for those brave enough to try. The waves of this beach make it possible to go body-boarding here as well, with the United States Bodyboard Association Tour hosting an event here in preceding years. Visitors can also go fishing, on charters or off shore, through much of the year. Gray whales can be seen off the shores of Rosarito during the yearly migrations, making a fantastic spectacle for those on and off shore.
