Tobago

Tobago is the smaller of the two islands that comprise the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. While small in size, this island is teeming with all kinds of activities that visitors can certainly enjoy. After all, this island lies outside of the hurricane belt of the Caribbean and
promises to have warm and pleasant weather throughout the year.

Pigeon Point Beach is a widely recognized sign of Tobago. These calm waters along the peninsula of the island promise to soothe anyone, from honeymooners to family vacationers. There are a number of facilities here that will help anyone enjoy the aquamarine waters even
more. Another great beach is Store Beach, which is located just outside many hotels on Tobago. This beach is home to the Great Race event, a powerboat race that always is one of the most exciting races on Tobago's shores.

To get away from the hustle and bustle of other tourists, head to the island's northern shore, where there are much quieter beaches, and some that are only accessible by boat. Visitors willing to explore this area can find Pirate's Bay, which once sheltered pirates long ago. The reefs that protect this bay are excellent for snorkeling enthusiasts and swimmers.

Tobago is a beautiful and small island that promises to charm any visitor into returning.
