Southampton has a variety of beaches to choose from. One of the most popular is Horseshoe Bay Beach. This pink sand beach is surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and beautiful offshore reefs which make it a stunning sight to behold. There is even a small neighboring cove called Port Royal Cove, which is safe for children to swim in. A small wading pool can also be found by the lime cliffs. Snorkeling is a popular activity here because of the offshore reefs. Another popular snorkeling location is Church Bay which is home to colorful color and equally vibrant fish. If looking for a bit of seclusion; be sure to head towards Chaplin Bay, which is hidden between Horseshoe Bay and Stonehole Bay. Southampton is home to its own lighthouse, Gibb’s Lighthouse, which is one of the parish’s most recognized landmarks.
