Smiths Parrish Vacation Rentals
Smith’s Parish of Bermuda is found a little northeast of the capital city.
This parish is a quiet but beautiful retreat from every other part of the city. While here, visitors will be privy to some of Bermuda’s most striking sites. Flatts Village, which is just on the border of this parish and Hamilton Parish, is a quaint village filled with pastel colored buildings that house many shops and restaurants. The neighboring Flatts Inlet once was the haven for pirates and smugglers during the height of the island’s maritime prominence. Devil’s Hole Aquarium is a collapsed cave which forms a natural aquarium where sharks, turtles, groupers and eels swim around. As for beaches in this parish, be sure to visit John Smith’s Bay. This pink sand beach has lifeguards present during the summer and is an excellent site for swimming and snorkeling. Spittal Pond Nature Reserve is also in this parish and it is Bermuda’s largest bird sanctuary.
Smith’s Parish contains much of Bermuda’s natural beauty and continues to be point of interest for visitors who want to see all the nature that call this Caribbean island home.
