There are 30 islands and close to 100 cays in the Berry Islands giving it the nickname of “The Fishbowl of the Bahamas.” Sports-fishing is popular in the cays because of the variety of fish that can found swimming off the shores of the cays. Some of the fish found here include Tuna, Grouper, Tigerfish, and Yellowfin Snapper. In fact, record sizes of blue and white marlin have been found here. This vast variety of fish also makes snorkeling and diving off the cays here exciting, with colorful fish and brilliant coral doting the underwater landscape.
